About US HKPEP

Manufacturing Process of HKPEP Research-Grade Peptides

At HKPEP, we are committed to producing high-quality research-grade peptides with consistent purity, stability, and batch-to-batch reliability. Every stage of our manufacturing process is carefully controlled to support product integrity, from raw material preparation to sterile filtration, vial filling, lyophilization, and final quality review.

1.High-Purity Water Preparation

Our process begins with the preparation and dissolution of peptide materials using WFI-grade water, also known as Water for Injection. This high-purity water provides a clean foundation for peptide formulation and helps reduce the risk of contamination during production.

2. Stability Support with Excipients

To improve product stability during freeze-drying and storage, carefully selected excipients such as mannitol and sucrose may be used. Mannitol helps support the physical structure of the lyophilized cake, while sucrose acts as a lyoprotectant, helping protect peptide integrity during the lyophilization process.

3. Controlled Solution Processing

The peptide solution is processed under controlled conditions to ensure consistency and stability before sterile filtration. Analytical techniques such as Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry may be used during quality testing and characterization to support accurate molecular analysis and batch verification.

4. Sterile Filtration

Before filling, the peptide solution is passed through a 0.22 µm PES membrane filter to reduce potential particulate and microbial contamination. This step helps ensure a cleaner and more consistent solution prior to vialing.

5. Precise Vial Filling and Lyophilization

After filtration, the solution is accurately dispensed into 3 mL vials. The vials are partially stoppered and transferred into a freeze-dryer for a carefully controlled lyophilization cycle.

The lyophilization process generally includes:

Freezing Phase: The solution is cooled to low temperatures to stabilize the peptide structure before drying.

Primary Drying: Frozen water is removed through sublimation, reducing the majority of moisture content.

Secondary Drying: Remaining bound water is further removed to improve long-term stability and storage performance.

6. Quality Control and Batch Consistency

Throughout production, we maintain strict process control to support purity, consistency, and reliability in every batch. HKPEP is dedicated to providing research-grade peptides supported by quality documentation, including COA and HPLC-related batch information when available.

At HKPEP, our goal is to deliver reliable research-grade peptide products with stable quality, professional manufacturing standards, and long-term supply support for global research and business partners.
